Engagement makeover is an aspect of makeover that I love to do
because it inspires me to be creative and practical in the real
sense, mait also allows a makeup artist to work with coordinated
colors which usually reflex in the bride's outfit and her accessories.
This bride engagement outfit color is lilac, yellowish gold with
a touch of purple; therefore I’ll be using same colors for
the Make Over. The
bride's dark complexion can take lot of colors, so it allows for
dramatic color shades.
To begin with,
I shaped her eyebrows, prepped her face with smash box photo-finish
to reduce oil secretion. Mary-Kay foundation in bronze was applied
with a brush followed with Orekelewa powder. Coffee brown eye
pencil was used to fill the eye-brow. Next, Sleek eye-shadow in
gold and lilac was filled inside the eyelid, while Orekelewa purple
eye-shadow was used to accent her eye. Mary-Kay black mascara
was used to civil her eyelashes.

An ebony violent
lip liner was used to line her lips and filled with a pink lipstick
and lip gloss. A loose power was also applied on her face, while
a wine blush powder was applied to her cheekbones and swept into
the corner of her eye to accentuate her cheeks. Finally a powder
bronzer was applied on her t-zones to contour her face, the head
tie (Aso-oke – traditional wear) was wrapped around her
head starting from the back to front and back for proper tying,
and making sure it's well fitted on her head.
