Author Daniel “Dante” Bello
Daniel Adebowale Bello was born on the 27th December 1979 in the Lion Mountain of Freetown, Sierra Leone in Western Africa to a Nigerian father and a Sierra Leonean mother. He attended the Saint Edwards Primary School and Prince of Wales Secondary School and later proceeded to Fourah Bay College now University of Sierra Leone where he studied Business Administration.

During the civil war in Sierra Leone in the early and late 90’s, he moved to Lagos, Nigeria with his mother and two siblings to the United High Commission for Refugees Camp in Oru Village, Ogun State in western Nigeria. He also attended Oxford College in Nigeria where he gained a B.Com in Marketing & Computer Skills. He later moved to Lagos State where he worked for a pharmaceutical company called Chemiron International Limited, an affiliate of the Henley Group of Companies (India) for three years.

My name is Daniel Dante Bello...
LE CHICS: What book are you reading at the moment?
Daniel: Am presently reading: THE MEASURE OF A MAN, a memoir by Sidney Poitier. A very fascinating read, it relates a lot to my journey in life as a young man and I find comfort, and inspirations to keep chasing down my dreams into reality.LE CHICS: Which book do you read over and over again?
Daniel: apart from my bible, THE POWER OF NOW by Eckhart Tolle, I just cant stop going back to re-read it because I learn something new about life and humanity at each read.LE CHICS: What was the last book you bought?
Daniel: THE WORD ON THE STREET By Rob Lacey- Dangerously real, retelling of scripture vividly demonstrating that the bible is packed full of stories, poems, images that resonate with the big issues of today. Love it.
