Hailed as the 'Best hotel in the UK, The Eriska is a 19th-century baronial mansion (Pride of Britain) and stands on a 300-acre private island reached by a wrought iron vehicle bridge. 'More resort than hotel', at reception there are wellington boots by the entrance, large sofas, a year-round log fire, panelled lounges. Bedrooms vary from 'traditional' in the main building, to modern spa suites, each with conservatory and private garden with hot tub. Also offering six course dinners, the Eriska is one good deal for money and a great stay for you and a partner.
