Kiehl's
Since 1851 has
created a limited edition product in support of World Aids Day on
December 1. The Ultimate Hand Salve provides all-day care to dry
hands and features unique packaging designed with the symbolic red
ribbon. In tandem with the product launch, the company will unveil
the Kiehl’s World AIDS Day Quilt.
Consisting of 48 patches, each patch is individually handmade by
Kiehl’s customers and staff from around the world to express
their support for the cause. Fashion designer Derek Lam designed
the quilt, which includes a decorative border in his signature pink
shade. Derek Lam and Kiehl’s, in partnership with the American
Foundation for AIDS Research, will unveil the quilt to customers
on December 1 at the Kiehl’s New York flagship store, before
it embarks on a round the world tour of Kiehl's stores. Kiehl's
will donate 100% of net profits from the UK sales of every hand
salve to the Terence Higgins Trust. www.kiehls.com
